So,

nminusone is also offering to make donations (up to $600 total) to several organizations in response to links/comments; it's the least I can do to help publicize it, especially since he picked one of my favorite organizations. =)

Today is Pungenday, day 29 in the season of Bureaucracy, 3271.

If you've got an hour or two of free time, you might consider volunteering to help enter data into a central database so people can search for friends and family members.

What we're asking you to do

It's simple: We'd like you to "claim" chunks of raw data about Katrina victims that we're gathering from hundreds of websites, and then enter that data into an online form so people can actually search through one consolidated database and find information about their loved ones.
