Mostly, I was just amused that someone wrote a sestina about creating a sestina template; the actual instructions made my eyes glaze over. =)

Date: 2008-01-11 05:56 pm (UTC)s/know/dated, and that describes part of what was so very odd about my Penn State experience. (One of them introduced me to the Grateful Dead, and in fact took me to my first show, so I'm not complaining.)
Indeed, perhaps it's because I'm 4'11.5" and therefore perceive anybody else as "tall" that I also perceive anybody who can count as "strong with the math-fu." (Wrong task for me? Counting brackets in Lisp.) But if you can do MySQL, and are considering going to -- and would comprehend -- a benchmarking workshop, between the two of us, trust me, you got the left brain!
