geekchickThis weekend I have:
* done a small amount of Giftmas shopping.
* burned three GAMT II CDs which have to go out tomorrow.
* attended a fun party with lots of yummy chocolate, cool people, and the Amazing Exploding Pyrex.
* put together most of my new computer, which has been sitting here for months waiting for me to get around to it. Athlon 64 3200+, 1 GB of RAM, and what was supposed to be XP Pro, although I just got a refund notice from the place I bought it from claiming that after telling me it would ship on Friday, it's now out of stock. Grump. Time to try elsewhere I guess.
Seems like there should've been more, but it was overall a pretty slack weekend. In fact, putting together the computer guts was done pretty much so I could claim to have done *something* on my list of "things I should've done a while ago".
Otherwise, I've had in the last few days several nice conversations with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nminusone and an email that made me act all twitterpated and bounce around happily for a while. (The cluephone rang, and the call was for me. *grin*) No "Brokeback Mountain" for me yet, have to wait until next week. Saw "Pride and Prejudice" instead, and managed for most of the movie to hold off on the "wait, that's not right!" commentary. I vastly prefer the A&E version, I confess.
