Probably, except that the project lead CS uses a Powerbook and expects seamless integration, and using another MacOS box works slightly more smoothly for her than commodity-Linux.
Although if budgets continue to auger-in here, we could be scrounging rather than buying *any* new hardware.
This is the Spanish drilling project... and virtually every computer is either a Mac or is x86/Red Hat. The latter being drill or embedded instrument control computers. Windows only exists on some individuals' laptops...
y'know, I've had a few guys try to get me to play with their trackballs, and it's never really suited me that much. I'm mean I do fine with my own trackball... but I'd much rather be working a nice curvy mouse.
Sure, sure. I'm just saying it's better to keep all my fingers occupied whenever possible. You know the saying about somebody making dirty work for idle digits...
