I'd said something on Sunday about how I'd like to move out of this place once our lease is up in April. There was a note under our door when I got home today that the new management company is turning this place into condos. We'll get first chance to buy, but frankly I don't see myself wanting to own this place. Condos = all the drawbacks of apartment living + all the drawbacks of homeownership. No thanks.

Unrelated tangent: Schweet! I now have space for 50 userpics. God knows how I'm going to come up with 40 more good icons though.

Oy! Sounds like you might need a rental house - none of the issues of ownership and no one above/below/on the other side of the walls. :-)
