I didn't see their version of "Dune", so I can't really compare it visually. I haven't read "Dune Messiah" in more than a decade, so mostly I was going "that sounds familiar". =) I'm thinking it's okay, but it's not holding me glued to the screen...I seem to have no problems getting up and wandering around doing other stuff while it's on.
The actress playing the Lady Jessica in SciFi's first dune miniseries wasn't as "regal" as the actress in this one, so I find the character much more believable this go round.
