I saw the ad for the auction during the first part, but I didn't know they'd be selling them off ALREADY!
What do you think of the miniseries so far? I think it LOOKS much better, but I can't speak to the plot very much as I didn't read "Dune Messiah" - I think they got into the "C of D" material last night and I won't see it until this evening.
I didn't see their version of "Dune", so I can't really compare it visually. I haven't read "Dune Messiah" in more than a decade, so mostly I was going "that sounds familiar". =) I'm thinking it's okay, but it's not holding me glued to the screen...I seem to have no problems getting up and wandering around doing other stuff while it's on.
The actress playing the Lady Jessica in SciFi's first dune miniseries wasn't as "regal" as the actress in this one, so I find the character much more believable this go round.
