Apr. 25th, 2005 07:26 pmDear clothing manufacturers,
I would like nothing more than to help increase your quarterly profits by purchasing a lot of spring and summer clothing. Unfortunately, you seem to have not realized that we don't all miraculously start looking good in icky pastels just because it's spring. Those of us who looked terrible in "China pink" or "Butter" or "Meadow" in August still look terrible in them in April. Really. While I can build my entire wardrobe out of the few items available in black, I'd really prefer to have a little more variety in my closet. Would letting me find summer clothes in a nice burgundy or maybe a dark green really kill you? Apparently, yes. So to you, a hearty "screw all y'all". I'll be back in October, when you get back around to putting out clothing in colors I can actually wear.
Oh so very sincerely,
Me
PS - Horrible 70s-esque patterns you offer as an alternative? Not happening. Thank you, drive through.
PPS - And don't even get me started on the (lack of) sizing standards. Grr. Argh.
