I saw this on one of my mailing lists and thought I might know a person or two in the SF area who'd be at least theoretically interested in the info. Before anyone asks: I am not going to be in SF for New Year's, so no, I'm not going (although I do like Land of the Blind). =) My understanding, if I'm reading this correctly, is that the New Year's Eve Dance is open to all guests at Harbin and you don't have to be registered for the full festival (but check with them, of course).

If you are a Bay Area [listmember] & don't feel likepaying $65 and up for a night of same ol' music in the city, and want to do something NEW and DIFFERENT then check this out; Cyoakha Grace and Blind play up at Harbin Hot Springs for the UNCONDITIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL, Dec. 28-Jan 1. It's a great 3 day gathering of dancers from all over the country, live music (Blind and Lost at Last) and the best bay area world dance trance DJs (DJ Dragonfly, DJ Rhymystic and more) in the conference area of Harbin (but with full use of Harbin's pools etc...)there are classes, all organic food, drumming and lots of dancing day and night. CYO and the BLIND will play their Ultra+Deep+Tribal+Magic+Music+Groove @ the fest for the dancers, Dec. 30, as well as playing for the full-Harbin all guests New Year's Eve Dance. http://www.harbin.org/dancedinsidefront.htm
