Today is Boomtime, day 59 in the season of Discord, 3269.

Not going to be a good day. I was fine when I woke up half an hour ago, but now it's zero to cranky in 15 minutes. Gah. Must remember to go take a walk today while it's still relatively sunny and hopefully the sun will help cheer me up.

At least I had an excellent weekend, mostly, which I'll write about later. Right now, time to get dressed and head to work.

Good things:
* Scored tickets to see the Matrix at 10:15 Wednesday (yes, Wednesday) night in Sterling. If anyone wants to meet up, tickets are still available at Fandango - Regal Countryside 20.
* Got the second template set up and working, now just need to wait for the new PHP RPM to arrive.
* Found a bunch of old photos I'd forgotten, most of which left me feeling all warm and fuzzy -- trips to Edmonton and the UK with S. and K., trips to Aspen and out along the Appalachian Trail with W., some from my sister's wedding, some of my mom before she got really sick. I need to get both a scanner and a new printer; wish I liked the scan quality of most of the all-in-one units I've seen better, since that would make life simpler. Nevermind, I found one I like. Glee!
* Wonderful time was had this weekend with friends, although we missed A. and D and other folks who couldn't make it.

Not so good things:
* Still really freakin' cranky.
* Feeling like I want to snack on something, but I'm trying to avoid eating anything since I know I'm not really hungry (despite starting on SlimFast again today to try to get myself a jump start on taking off some of these extra 40 lbs); it's either boredom or bad mood, not sure which. Either way, I will not eat the chips sitting in that bowl on the table. I will be a Good Girl and wait for dinner, when I will still not eat those chips.
