Nov. 28th, 2001 12:46 pmToday is Boomtime, day 40 in the season of The Aftermath, 3167.
What happened to the sun? It was out a few minutes ago, and now it's totally overcast. *grump* I think I'm going to have to move the extra halogen light into the office to supplement the full-spectrum bulb I already have. It's been a bad couple of days, even with lots of 5-HTP. I have absolutely no motivation to get anything done (I've been staring at this forbearance form for my student loan that's sitting on my desk and needs to be faxed for a couple of days now) and am just generally feeling blue and disconnected from pretty much everyone.
On the whole I think I'm dealing with this unemployment thing pretty well, but I'm starting to get disheartened about the fact that I've only had one interview (well, several interviews with one company) come out of all the resumes I've sent out. On a somewhat happy note about that one, they're still asking me to fill out this paperwork they're sending, so that means that they haven't hired someone else and neglected to tell me that. Still a chance there, I hope it works out. I think I really need to start going into an office every day to keep motivation levels up, as it's way too easy to get distracted sitting at home. Speaking of which, I need to go hunt down some Aleve and then do a little more work on this registration form.
