A request

(Made a general post because it's not just here, it's something I run into pretty much everywhere, especially so recently.)

While I'm the first to admit to often being embarrassed beyond belief by the behavior of some of the residents of my home state, could we please lay off the "stupid Mississippian" jokes for a bit? :( I admit that I'm being oversensitive about it, but, y'know, I am from Mississippi even if I don't happen to live there anymore, most of my family is there, I have friends from there, and it's really getting irritating hearing repeatedly how we're all idiots.

I'm sorry to hear you've been getting that. I hope the defeat of the Personhood amendment makes some folks shut up.
