Jan. 31st, 2005 03:56 pmI've been reminded often in the last several days that some people utterly fail to suck. I count myself lucky to know some pretty wonderful people. Strategic cope reserves are being refilled thanks in large part to them.

Jan. 28th, 2005 11:01 amWhen I got home last night in what could be considered a bit of a distraught state,
nminusone tried to convince me that things really aren't as bad as all that (with mixed success, granted, but he did try), indulged me in my desire to go get a quesadilla from California Tortilla even though it was earlier than he'd normally want to eat dinner, and later that night he went back out to the store so he could make me chocolate chip cookies while I napped under a blanket on the couch.

Mar. 5th, 2002 06:23 pmHere I sit in the office, everyone else having bailed. The good side to this is that I can not feel bad about blasting Soul Coughing loud enough to hear it on the other side of the building. I'm waiting for Chris to come pick me up, and then perhaps we'll go pick up the copy of "Artificial Intelligence" that I preordered at the maul. Chris volunteered to take my car to get the emissions inspection I forgot I needed so that I can renew my expired registration. That's a sign of real love, when someone offers to deal with the DMV for you. Heh, he's been invoked and just showed up. Shoulda tried that half an hour ago. ;)
