Exciting times last night: I soaked my head in Manic Panic's Purple Haze for a few hours while watching the last half of S1 BSG again, rinsed it out, then apparently managed to fall asleep on the sofa sometime during the last episode (so probably around 1:30) with the lights on, my glasses on, and my laptop open on my lap. See what wild stuff I get up to when I've got a weekend all to myself? Sheesh. Re: the hair, I figured it was finally time; it's been a whole bunch of years since I dyed my hair an odd color, and we've got a meeting coming up in the office next week. ;) Plus, I wanted long, curly, purple hair for some reason. I didn't bleach it though, so the color is rather more subtle than it might otherwise be. It's hardly noticeable in indoor lighting, I think; will have to go check it outside.

Today's plans include treating myself to a pastrami on rye over at the local deli, an early showing of "Spiderman 3" and perhaps taking advantage of Free Comic Book Day, then I suspect some more culling of CDs and a trip out to College Park. And tomorrow I have an exciting day planned involving doing laundry and hacking on twiki code. Well, I should be hacking on twiki code, although I might just get distracted by that shiny copy of "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" sitting on the table here tempting me to read it. Or I could bundle up and go find a day hike off of Skyline Drive to work off the disturbingly large amount of Ben & Jerry's Crème Brulee ice cream I ate last night.
