When we visited Great Britain, I actually put Shrewsbury on the schedule. What's neat is that in the Cathedral (where the gift shop sells Cadfael books in every available translation), you can be standing on a tombstone on the floor, with a date of 1138 or so, next to one with a date of 1324 or so (and the older one cut into, to make room for the new one), and looking at the sign on the pole that says, "At coffee service, we serve only fair trade coffee from Nicaragua." Literally and truly. It's really neat, an active, living church that is also an ancient setting for a really cool mystery series.
(Somewhere, I have prints of that part of the trip, I haven't scanned them yet.)
