I'm done with today. Rocks fall; everyone dies.



In (mostly) less cranky news, I got CDs mailed out last night to everyone whose discs I've already received. Local folks should probably see them turn up tomorrow, everyone else should get them by the end of the week. There are a couple of playlists that I have that weren't included with the discs, and I don't actually remember who got which discs (it really was chosen randomly), so I'll email out the playlists to everyone later this week. Also, I put together the packages when I was exhausted and I don't think I sent anyone a copy of their own disc; if I did, ping me and I'll make you a copy of another one. Here's the slightly-more-cranky part: since there are two participants who I assume have backed out based on the fact that I've not heard anything from them since the sign-up, I don't have quite enough discs for everyone. I'll make extra copies of some other discs from my set of four in order to make up the shortfall for the remaining participant(s); if any of you object to my making an extra copy of your disc, let me know.

Wow. I handed them to the guy cleaning out the APS drop box at 7:45 last night, I didn't expect any of them to show up at their destinations before tomorrow.

I do wish that anyone who wanted to back out had said something, so I could do some rearranging of swap groups. I think that this is the last time I do a semi-large-scale swap, from now on it's back to the 5 or 5 people max swaps I'd been running before. I can't imagine how the folks running the audiography swaps don't go insane, because those are like ten times the size of this one, at least.

I have no objection to copying another of mine if you have to.

Thanks! I think at least one person whose discs are on the way would really enjoy your mix. (It's fabulous, by the way; I listened to it a couple of times today at work.)

Yay :) And on yours the SchoolHouse Rock. I didn't realize we were about the same age (would have put you 10yrs younger than me). I was so afraid my music would be too dorky for this crowd. Glad to hear it wasn't (and happy to see some of my fav's on other people lists)

I do, and we did: I saw you drive off just as I was limping my gimpy way to the end of the walkway between Caribou and the next-over store, and was very amused. I love coinkidinks like that one.
