The weekend was fairly slack. Saturday morning we went and found a nice wooded spot to bury Miki out behind the complex. Near the power lines, but that just means that they won't be building more condos on top of the spot. Then in the afternoon went to the Dulles maul to go to our favorite little shop that sells anime-related and Sanrio stuff), Suncoast (where I gave in and bought the two Revolutionary Girl Utena dvds), and Hot Topic (where I was thwarted, but not surprised, by them not having anything interesting on their tiny little clearance rack, even at half off clearance prices).
Emma seems to be feeling a lot better, she's back to not letting anyone pet her and her appetite has definitely returned. She's decided that she *really* likes her antibiotics (something cherry-flavored, I think), and is going to be really disappointed when she doesn't get it anymore.
Sunday we had several folks over to watch "But I'm a Cheerleader" and eat at the rodizio restaurant across the street. Had a very nice evening hanging out with everyone. It's so nice to be social after sitting at home by myself all day long most days.
Yesterday we accomplished pretty much nothing but getting sucked into the SciFi Channel "Star Trek" marathon. And today I should learn more advanced router configuration so I can go back and add some additional functionality. Go me.
