Okay, who's doing what, when?

DC Foodies had good things to say about Corduroy, so I'd like to try and finagle a seating there. I always love Filomena, and the one time I ate at Chef Geoff's it was pretty tasty.
Zaytinya's a good bet as well, so long as you don't mind a looooooooong wait for a table on weekends.

Others I'm considering (if you have opinions on any of them, feel free to speak up):

  • Agraria
  • In all my years at Georgetown, I never once managed to eat at 1789; I'm not feeling a severe lack, honestly, but wouldn't be averse. Chris, you'd have to dig up a jacket though. ;)
  • 21 P (although it loses points for highly annoying website)
  • Indique, maybe? Or perhaps Rasika instead.
  • Haven't been to Sequoia in years, but it's not top of my list.
  • Sesto Senso
  • Ten Penh

That's from a quick rundown of the list, there are probably more I might be interested in when I have more time to look things up.

I think you and [livejournal.com profile] brian1789 should go to 1789 some time.

I'd second that. :)

I haven't been to any of these... and I'm up for all of them.

Lemme know what's what.

Bistro Bis on the 12th. We are going to try to get into Zaytinya's another time.

People I trust say Ten Penh is awesome. Sesto Senso is rated as pretty decent as was Indique. As always YMMV :0

Ten Penh is awesome. So is Sesto Senso. So also is Bistro Bis. We are doing I Ricchi as neither of us have ever been. 1789 is also great, and I do personally recommend it.

My 2 cents

Priorities... :)

If I only get one shot at it, next week, I want to go to the place where my sweetie will be happiest or most intrigued... granted, I've been to Zaytinya's before, so might tend to something different.

I'll leave it in your talented hands. ;) And whatever you can find, that you like, is OK with me. Almost like a culinary blind date...

If I weren't going to be in San Diego for a good chunk of that week, I'd *so* be all over this. However, perhaps this is a good excuse to try to set up a dinner date for later in the month!

I've always wanted to try Zaytinya, myself. If you guys want to go there sometime (restaurant week or not) let me know. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so -- I boycotted it last restaurant week just for that :-).

Indique is good, but I'm not sure the $30 restaurant week special is actually an appreciable savings off the normal prices. Might as well wait for a less crowded week, IMHO.
