Cross stitch

geekchickI finally finished a craft project! I think the last thing I finished would've been a crocheted blanket around 18 months ago. I'm good at starting things, but not so good with finishing them. =/

brian1789 got for me a while back and I decided a couple of evenings ago that it was well past time to work on it. I don't know why I haven't been doing more cross stitch; I think I actually enjoy it more than crochet, although that may be related to the fact I know the bare minimum about crochet and haven't really done much work to change that lately. (See above about not being good about finishing things.)
The pattern is from Subversive Cross Stitch; here it is hot off the hoop, as you can see from the fabric. Needs pressing, and then an appropriate frame.
