Oct. 24th, 2006 12:10 amHm. How masochistic am I feeling? (That is completely work-safe, it's a counted cross stitch pattern.)
Cross stitch
Oct. 3rd, 2006 10:42 pmI finally finished a craft project! I think the last thing I finished would've been a crocheted blanket around 18 months ago. I'm good at starting things, but not so good with finishing them. =/

brian1789 got for me a while back and I decided a couple of evenings ago that it was well past time to work on it. I don't know why I haven't been doing more cross stitch; I think I actually enjoy it more than crochet, although that may be related to the fact I know the bare minimum about crochet and haven't really done much work to change that lately. (See above about not being good about finishing things.)
The pattern is from Subversive Cross Stitch; here it is hot off the hoop, as you can see from the fabric. Needs pressing, and then an appropriate frame.

May. 14th, 2006 01:13 pmI haven't done any cross stitch in a while (and of course have some unfinished projects sitting around here someplace), but I am sorely tempted by this pattern. Why (re)start small? ;)
