Going through the piled-up mail from this weekend, I find a letter from my bank with "IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR ONLINE BANKING ACCESS" plastered all over it. So I open it up to see what it is.
Dear [bank] Online Banking Customer:
We are writing to let you know that during the next one to two weeks access to [bank] Online Banking may be temporarily unavailable and to apologize for this inconvenience. This possible interruption in access is caused by the apparent financial failure of our third party Internet Service Provider. We are working hard to switch providers and minimize any disruption in service so that you may continue to enjoy the convenience of accessing your acounts via the Internet.
D'oh!
