gothic_peacock points out a picture that Howard Kaloogian (running to replace Duke Cunningham) is using to "prove" that Iraq is calm and stable. It would be a much better idea if the picture he was using wasn't apparently a neighborhood in Istanbul. "Oops."

(Note: I can't seem to get the relevant page on Kaloogian's site to come up at the moment.)

I don't think the picture has actually been pulled--the bandwidth just gets swamped some of the time. It's coming up for me, now.

Just one more reason to copy pictures onto your own server, rather than linking to them.
