Lovely. Guess who's coming to picket the memorial service for the West Virginia miners? Apparently they died because God hates gay cowboys and Dan Brown. Buh? (Not that logic has ever been a strong point with these wingnuts.) It's not very charitable of me to think "he's gonna get himself shot or maybe have a little accident on those West Virginia mountain roads that folks from Kansas just aren't used to, and I'll consider the world much better off if it happens", but if there's anyone out there utterly undeserving of compassion, I'm pretty sure it's Fred Phelps.

I have no idea where Phelps is coming from on this one. I mean, he's batshit insane, NONE of his junk has ever made sense, but I think he's really reaching with this one.

I'm with you - if something happens to Phelps we've seen too much of him to really mourn his passing.
