Aha, I remembered what the other book from last month, the one before Western Swing, was:

A Stroke of Midnight, Laurell K. Hamilton.

You can probably figure out how much of an impression it made by the fact that I only just remembered reading it. Yes, yes, hot faerie sex with some astoundingly beautiful men, we got it already. It's starting to wear thin even as cotton candy for the brain, to be honest.

I can't really imagine what it would sound like, but then I suppose that's all for the best.

I just got incubus dreams from the library.

you know, back when there wasn't any sex in the books, the few scenes that would pop up were incredibly sexy.

now? Not so much.

perhaps it got all tangled up in someone's long, flowing green hair.

*snerk*

Besides, I always like the blue-haired one better.

I just looked at the Amazon reviews for this book. My favorite line: "Of course, we're part of the problem. If we'd stop buying these books, maybe Laurell Hamilton would start writing better novels."
