Today is Sweetmorn, day 17 in the season of Bureaucracy, 3271.

I stuck a few pictures from vacation-in-progress up on my site, others will follow once I get them sorted and edited.




BunBun's been pestering me to post his photos and swearing he'll jump on the bed all night to make sure I don't get any rest if I don't. Since I have to get up at the crack o'dawn tomorrow to make sure I get back to Denver on time, I'll humor him. That done, it's time to go try to pack and then crash.

DJ Bun worked out pretty well. You'll note if you look carefully that at the time we were listening to "American Music" by the Violent Femmes, and the trip was most a weird combination of that and Iggy Pop and Joni Mitchell. Not to mention catching Hayseed Dixie's cover of "Love Gun".

I put a few more pictures up, but I confess that the first batch are the ones I think turned out the best. =) I imagine some time getting really friendly with Paint Shop Pro for the rest.

I think you're right, but there are still some good ones. A little cropping here and there, a little brightness/contrast adjustment, etc., and you'd have some more winners, IMHO. The subject matter doesn't hurt, also IMHO. :-)

No, BunBun stayed at the hotel when I took the photos outside Boulder and he didn't want to go on the hike at Garden of the Gods because he didn't want to risk getting rained on.

I'm home, finally, and going to go pass out now.
