How to become your cat's new Bestest Buddy Ever, in one simple step: simmer chicken stock on the stove for a couple of hours until the aroma fills the entire house. (Amusingly, Gateway doesn't actually *like* chicken stock, but he never remembers that until I give him a taste.)

This batch is looking much more promising than the last batch I made, and it's got a lot more celery in it. Mmmmm.

chicken and celery are a near perfect pairing. i couldn't imagine making chicken soup without celery.

The last batch didn't have nearly enough celery in it, and it was really bland. This one is smelling much tastier already.

Mine are Fluffy (didn't name her) then Kiri, Kasumi-ko, Kuroko, and Ichi-Ban
Then there are strays around who are Stubby (manx), Tesla, Auron, and Lilun.
