What does it mean to "go level up" a character? Balance their portfolio of gold and weapons and things?

Fight a lot and do a lot of quests and get enough points that one goes from level 19 to 20, or 30 to 35, or whatever the goal for the day is.

I should tell you my story about sex during a gaming con, sometime. While I'm sure that's not unusual, I think it's rare that the entire game breaks out into an orgy in the middle of the game, and then returns to gaming, naked and snuggly, afterward. . .
