Sunday, January 9: 176.5 lbs
Sunday, January 16: 172.5 lbs
Sunday, January 23: 170
Sunday, January 30: 171
Sunday, February 6: 169 (...dude! *ahem* Sorry, had to.)

Yeah, I sort of turned around a bit the week before last. I had an exceedingly stressful week, which translated to "cry a lot, and then eat a whole lot of Toll House cookies". I was surprised to only gain a pound, I expected at least twice that.

My 10% goal is 18 pounds, or 158.5. After that, there's not that much more to go until 150, at which point I'll have gotten rid of all the Depo weight finally. (Yes, I gained 30 pounds in my year on Depo) From there, I want to eventually get to 135. The lowest I've ever been as anything close to an adult has been 125, but I don't know that I can get to that anytime soon without doing it in an extremely unhealthy way and I'm not so much into that idea.

I think trying to get much more serious about cutting down on carbs (not out, mind you, but down) and switching away from even the diet soda will help. Too bad in some sense I'm not still swilling regular Coke; switching to Diet Coke from regular lost me 15-20 pounds or so with almost no effort on my part over the course of several months. That should tell you how much I consume.

yay! (pat on back)

It's healthier, and if you can lose it at your current age the skin should snap back elastically instead of leaving droopy empty folds.

Trust me, you don't even want to hear about some of the photos I saw of people who needed those folds of skin removed after having lost vast amounts of weight post-bypass. If I hadn't been sure before that I wanted the lapband instead, I would have been after seeing the photos. *shudder*
