Date: 2005-01-11 07:15 pm (UTC)Okay, as a Mac fan, riddle me this: if *any other company* had put out a $100 MP3 player which touted as its main features the inability to see what's playing (there's no display) and continuous shuffle, people would be speculating what sort of drugs the designers were on. When Apple does it, it's "genius". Why is that? It's that y'all've been drinking the Kool-Aid for too long, isn't it? =)

Date: 2005-01-11 07:56 pm (UTC)Checking the website... it looks like one can either download playlists from iTunes, or shuffle. Pretty minimal. Still, that's only a 50% premium on an ordinary 1GB memory stick.
