If anyone needs to work to “bring the country together” it’s those on the left who have divided it so badly. Those who sought to destroy this great man should get down upon their knees and beg the victors for mercy. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll let a few of them linger on for the simple reason that they amuse us. My life’s goal is to see the Democratic Party virtually obliterated and left as a rump of people like Stephanie Herseth who both mostly agree with us anyways and are easy on the eyes.

That’s the future of the Democratic Party: providing Republicans with a number of cute (but not that bright) comfort women.

Yeah, he said comfort women.

Gee, I can't imagine why in his next post he says he's now disabled comments.

What's really disturbing about the triumphalism of idiots like this guy and the despair of the many liberal people I know is that it's so bloody groundless. The American people, in the middle of a war, with only two (serious) alternatives to chose from, tended marginally to prefer the sitting president over a challenger. Ballot intiatives in 20% of the states, predimoninantly conservative ones, succeeded in enshrining in law something that most Americans believe already (that marriage should be reserved for heterosexual couples--http://www.pollingreport.com/civil.htm). The party of the incumbent president, who won, increased their control over the legislature by a few seats.

This is not an overwhelming defeat for the Democrats and for liberalism. It's not an overwhelming victory for conservative Republicans. It's depressing and annoying, but nothing mroe than that. But clearly this guy is not the sharpest stake in the palisade to begin with...

Because last year, in February, or so, he was severely beaten up. I had a small hand in it. He was, among other things, advocating murder (a la the DJ who was shot in Colorado) and spewing the same sort of vitriol you posted.

I'd have to say, were he to die, I'd not grieve.

Adam has not changed in the slightest since he was a post on soc.history.what-if.

As I recall, he had only one rival for the title of "most killfiled individual," that being a guy called Quonster, who is even crazier.

It's a different kind of crazy, though. I offer this (http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&threadm=3774B93E.7808%40online.no&rnum=18&prev=/groups%3Fq%3DQuonster%26start%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26selm%3D3774B93E.7808%2540online.no%26rnum%3D18") as an example.
