geekchick: (cranky)

Have I mentioned lately how much I despise Mondays? Today is a very Monday sort of Monday, too. Grr. Arrgh.

Let me just say that the world is damn lucky I didn't take any more DHEA yesterday or today; Saturday I was ready to rip people's heads off just for existing. Today I'm down to a reasonable level of self-contained cranky. I still wouldn't try to irritate me; you wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

Note to self: less DHEA (by which I mean "none" for the time being), more 5-HTP. And seriously, seriously consider getting a light box.

I'm taking about 200 mg of 5-htp at the moment...100 in the AM and 100 in the evening. I found the 100 mg capsules at Whole Foods (can't recall the brand but if you want to know I'll tell you when I get home) an am actually thinking about upping it to 300.

It's made a big difference.

You've been furious with me before, and I still liked you then. :)

Well, in his defense, I missed it the first time around, too, green print notwithstanding.

Oh, and before you ask, [livejournal.com profile] brian1789, dear, it's from "The Incredible Hulk".

What, no link to an Incredible Hulk (http://www.incrediblehulktvseries.com/) web page?

Put down that brick! Quell the raging spirit that dwells within you! :)

I loved the ref, though. The Hulk was always my favorite comic book hero (even though he wasn't always heroic).

If you have any need whatsoever for a "yay, lightboxes" testimonial, let me know. I've had one for my SAD for years - got it from my dad, who suffers similarly - and I definitely think it helps. (Of course, after I use it I always feel like I should be sprouting things. But whatever.)

You want I should make you one?
