Today is Setting Orange, day 44 in the season of Confusion, 3270.

I have a house to myself this evening, a hammock, an ice cold Mike's lemonade, and for later a huge bathtub with several varieties of bubble bath from which to choose. Life is good right about now.

I love the deck and the trees out back and the space, but if I'm being honest, I decided I wanted to rent this place when I saw that the master bath had a Jacuzzi tub. ;)

Can't beat that, although my experience with combining Jacuzzi tubs and bubble bath has led to, shall I say, an over-abundance of bubbles. :-)

I've seen a couple of house plans for places in a more affluent neighborhood near here that have walk-in Roman-style showers. The mind reels... ;-)

I am looking forward to no longer having the house to myself. It's depressing that I am so caught up on things that the things I do on the web seem almost pointless....

I don't hundred of e-mails to go through, I look at my friends list and it has nothing new... I am up to date.

I have a serious need for the occasional block of time by myself, and with C. not working at the moment I've lost my previous block of time that I used to have in the evenings before he got home. I'm not quite back at the level of wanting to live alone again, but I do go a bit loopy if I don't have at least *some* time to myself. I was planning on catching up on some homework tonight; my book is currently sitting on the other side of the table, and it doesn't seem to be moving. =) Instead I compulsively reload my friends page and refresh my gmail inbox, and then act surprised by the fact that there's nothing new in the 30 seconds since I last checked. ;)

I was dead for about 12 hours, but that was afterwards. =) I also have wine, but it hadn't been chilled yet. Certainly there are many worse ways to have spent my evening.
