*sigh* I saw them play live at American U. when I was a freshman in college. I got thrown onto the stage so many times they finally dragged me off backstage. And I have an autographed t-shirt from them.

I saw them at University of Maryland when I was either a freshman or sophomore. It was a bizarre setting, since it was one of those formal ballrooms with the red velvet drapes and the gilded wallpaper, not exactly the setting I'd imagine them in.

This makes me very sad. I saw them, I don't know how many times. One show was not advertised, only the coolest people got to go. Heh. Somehow, I was invited. It was awesome.

Man, how depressing.

I still remember how they handled stage diving when I saw them at Cabaret Metro: the first stage diver was hauled by security in front of Rodney Anonymous, who shouted "Just what I ordered! Take her to my dressing room!"

No one jumped on stage after that.

So very sad. *sigh* Having lived in Philly for most of my life I got to see the Dead Milkmen quite a few times and would occasionally run into members at parties in West Philly. I'll have to dig out my old Dead Milkmen tapes and listen to them tonight or tomorrow.
