I'm kind of sad that my reaction to snowfall has gone from "Wheee!!!!" to "@#$%, I get to spend all morning tomorrow shovelling the driveway and chipping ice off my windshield." I wonder if the fact that it's snowing here again is indicative of the sort of winter we can expect; the official prediction from the weather service a month or so ago was the utterly unhelpful but refreshingly honest: "It could be very snowy. It could not be very snowy at all. It could also be about the same as we'd normally expect, we really just don't know."

*hugs* I love snow for the same reasons, I think, and hate it for the same ones as well. My hatred has gone down in the last year, though - since Toni and I live on about a 35o angle driveway, it was impossible to get my old Dodge Neon up to the garage if there was more than a slight dusting. The Subarus do so well, though, that we didn't shovel past the first couple of snowfalls last winter. We got about 1/2 inch overnight, and it's coming down harder as I type this.

What would really annoy me is the scraping of the windshield - I find that more annoying than shoveling, actually. Sending better weather ~~~vibes~~~ your way... :-)

Ayup. It's amazing how quickly I soured on winter once I had a car and started having to shovel it out on a near-daily basis last year. Fucking snow.
