Tonight I'm enjoying spending an evening in my own company. C. is out seeing the pirate movie with B. and will be out until very late, and I'm staying home to soak in my newly-clean bathtub, try to read some more of "The Years of Rice and Salt" (which I am enjoying, but not as much as his Red/Green/Blue Mars series), and generally not stress. I might take myself out to dinner someplace if I feel so inclined, but I'm not sure at the moment I do. The prospect of an evening alone to curl up in bed on fresh, clean sheets and read until I fall asleep is pretty darn appealing. On the other hand, I could also try to figure out how to thread my sewing machine finally; Jo-Ann's had a bolt of Hello Kitty polar fleece and some cute glittery flocked bat fabric that I'm sure I need to make something out of, although probably not by combining the two. (Note to self: 99-cent Simplicity pattern day August 16.)

Heh, according to the latest timewasting quiz, the romance movie that best represents my love life is "Secretary". I am amused. Let the comments from the peanut gallery begin! ;)
