Ghod help me...

I need to go to the grocery store, but the forecast says that we're supposed to get sleet t his afternoon and 2-4 inches of snow overnight. DC is not exactly world-renowned for how well it Deals[tm] when there's even the slightest suggestion that it might conceivably maybe possibly at some point soon snow, so Giant is going to be A Fucking Zoo[tm]. If we're lucky, there will still be some milk left.

One of the DJ's the last time it snowed made the comment that whenever it threatens to snow, people here go on a "white stuff" buying spree -- milk, bread and tp -- perhaps to keep up the theme.

Of course last time they threatened 2-4 inches of snow, we got a nice, cold, sunny day. Let's see if the WeathermenOnCrack come through for us this time. Time for tomato soup and toasted cheese sammiches either way.

Well Boston is predicting 10-12"......how about we trade locations. I can deal much better with only a dusting of 2-4" :) :)

Gladly! =) I'm of the opinion that if it's going to be obnoxiously cold (which it isn't really, at least not here right this minute), it should at least snow. And if it's going to snow, it might as well make it worth my while. =)

DC however is one of those towns that shuts down at the slightest mention of the word "snow". Toss an icecube on the Beltway and traffic backs up for miles. ;)

Well, I wasn't really paying attention to the weather reports last week, considering I wasn't EXPECTING company. not that I'm complaining mind you... so the snow was a bit of a surprise... welcome though... cause it chased off the evil roofers for a few days. Evil roofers who wake me up at 7:00AM every morning with heavy stomping above my head. Nice roofers would tiptoe at 7 in the morning! That would let me sleep

As for the car thing.. If you had done what I wanted to and just stayed in bed, you wouldn't have had to go clean up the car... but if we had stayed in bed mom would have never followed me out of friendly's and given me that french fry.

My mom's wierd. I love her... but she's wierd.

Anyway... if at any time you want to come up here and experiance new hampshire winters cathy.. consider yourself invited.... (though it looks like boston gets more snow)
