[livejournal.com profile] chiefted: It's all [livejournal.com profile] shayde's fault; he took to calling me "geek chick" as (I hope) a term of endearment on IRC, and it kind of stuck, so now I use either my given name or "GC".

[livejournal.com profile] phinnia: pumpkin chocolate chip, using a recipe I snagged a while ago from [livejournal.com profile] spookycam when she posted it

[livejournal.com profile] wolfy: Of course.

[livejournal.com profile] hammercock: In a heartbeat. *grin* And I'm sure there'd be much protesting, too. I thought I heard hir mutter something about a briar patch...

[livejournal.com profile] mrph: Augh! I was all set to say "the guy in the awful movies was the worst" until you beat me to it. *grin* Best is Tom Baker, naturally. I never was a huge fan of Sylvester McCoy, although I also have barely any memory of ever seeing more than a few episodes with Hartnell or Troughton.

[livejournal.com profile] aroraborealis: Oof, good question. Hard to say, since I like so much of what's going on in my life now so not sure how much of what got me here I'd change. I think one big thing I can think of that I'd do differently would be asking someone specifically to stay all those years ago instead of thinking that I couldn't ask that of them. I would also probably cut down on some of the risky behavior I indulged in in college, as it didn't really do much for me then, and it periodically comes back to haunt me.

[livejournal.com profile] shadowbody: Heh. That's going in a friends-only entry I think, as it can very rapidly approach the TMI stage. The vital elements were: a friend of mine, the stage in G***** Hall at 2 am (gorgeous old auditorium on campus), campus security. ;)

[livejournal.com profile] anotheranon: The former.

[livejournal.com profile] brian1789: Two part question? I only got part a. Remember my telling you about the dream of a big old house up on a hill, with a wrap-around porch and gardens and swings hanging from a tree, and lots and lots of room for the people I love and the people they love? That. (You did say "ideally", not "within the bounds of reason". ;) )

[livejournal.com profile] tikva: *blush* Thank you. =) I don't get to Boston nearly as often as I have in the past few years, but I'm working on changing that somewhat. I shall let you know when I'm next up.

[livejournal.com profile] gsh: It's not too late. ;) I don't, however, know when I'll be in an appropriate position. (That...oh hell, I'm leaving it because it's more fun without context. ;) )

[livejournal.com profile] indyansel: It's a Discordian calendar, a nifty little perl script called "ddate". I forget where I picked it up. (By the way, you've seen this, right? ;) Ran across it on my travels tonight.)

At least one person has mentioned posting a question that I just don't see in the results, so if you've posted and I haven't answered, it could be that it just isn't showing up for me.

Ah, Discordian - makes sense now. And thanks for another map link on which to drool! ;-)

Now that's something you don't hear every day.

I couldn't resist. ;-)
