Oklahoma City-based Sonic Corp . has tapped Green Light Retail to scout locations in the Washington area, with a goal of opening several dozen of its drive-through eateries locally. John Platten has been awarded the franchise rights to this area.

“I don’t know that we’ll be on every single corner the way McDonald’s has been … but it’s ultimately a fairly substantial regional program,” says Peter Framson , a Green Light principal.
