Feb. 20th, 2009 08:33 pmOklahoma City-based Sonic Corp . has tapped Green Light Retail to scout locations in the Washington area, with a goal of opening several dozen of its drive-through eateries locally. John Platten has been awarded the franchise rights to this area.
“I don’t know that we’ll be on every single corner the way McDonald’s has been … but it’s ultimately a fairly substantial regional program,” says Peter Framson , a Green Light principal.
Finally, a way to satisfy the cherry limeade craving without a 50+ mile drive!
And on the other end of the scale:
CommonWealth will be hosting a whisky dinner on March 2 at 6:30 p.m. Four-course tasting menu along with six single-malts: Clynelish, Oban, Singleton, Talisker, Caol Ila, and Dalwhinnie. $60 plus tax/tip.
