The world might just be coming to an end, I thought I'd give y'all some warning.

Why do I say that?

At a party tonight, I voluntarily sat in front of a camera for at least half an hour. And when it was all done, there were actually pictures of me that I liked. Neither of those ever happens. (Yes, once I get the CD I'll share.) I'm not sure what exactly possessed me to have pictures taken, although the fact that I felt like I looked pretty good tonight might've had a lot to do with it. I recycled last year's fairy outfit, but added a wig. Heh, apparently I bought the Magical Purple Wig of Sassiness [edit: this is not one of the party pictures, this is one I took myself] or something, because I was the most at ease in front of a camera wielded by someone else that I've ever been in my life. Oh yeah, and having a gorgeous redhead snuggled into your cleavage doesn't hurt when trying to relax in front of the camera. [livejournal.com profile] indyansel, might want to make a note of that (and brunettes are good too). ;)

[livejournal.com profile] nminusone and I are going to around for Thanskgiving and were thinking it might be nice to have folks over for dinner if you're in town and don't already have other plans. If you'd like to join us, either email one or both of us at our handy-dandy LJ email addresses or fill out the even handier-dandier poll below.

Things to know:

  • Neither of us are the "let's have a giant plate of turkey and smashed potatoes at 2 in the afternoon" type, we tend to eat closer to what's normally considered suppertime, like 6 PM. (Which is early for us, granted, but still.)
  • Please let us know if you're coming by November 17, so that we can plan for the appropriate amount of food.
  • If you're coming and you don't eat meat, please let us know so that we can plan for the appropriate variety of food.
  • Contributions of side dishes or desserts are welcome, but not even remotely required. If you plan to bring something, please let us know ahead of time so that we don't end up with 10 pounds of mashed potatoes and seven pumpkin pies. Not that we couldn't be plenty happy with that, of course.

The poll is set to allow friends only to reply; if you can't fill it out, send one or both of us an email.
