Today is Pungenday, day 23 in the season of Chaos, 3270.

I have 548 unread messages in my WomBAT folder, dating back to December 28. As fabulous as reading posts from the wombabes generally is, I think I'm far enough behind that I may have to just declare defeat and 'rm Mail/wombat'. Let me know if I missed anything important, eh? It's not that much mail compared to, say, elbows -- I skipped reading/deleting that list for a single day not too long ago and came back to about 140 new messages. Luckily it was mostly a single thread which I could easily delete.

Crap, it just dawned on me that I have to do laundry and pack for a week sometime tomorrow night, and pray that some of my business casual clothes still fit. I foresee the possibility of using the latest Lane Bryant 25% off coupon tomorrow after work. While I'm glad I'll get to see some folks while I'm out in California (in my not-very-copious free time), I am so very much not in the right mindset to be away from home for a week right now. Other things to do by Saturday morning: reply to an important email or two that fell victim to my "no energy to do anything requiring interaction with other people" phase (got a few of the most important ones done), drop my web design class because I need the money to replace my alternator instead (gotta love being able to do that sort of thing online), make sure to get stats to A. tomorrow early-ish so he has time to create the graphs.

Lost: one small, green paperback book. Answers to "The Discontinuity Guide".

Which one of you did I lend my copy of the Doctor Who Discontinuity Guide to? billporn, was it you? I know I lent it out to someone a good while ago and was reminded of it when I wanted to look something up the other night. I can't seem to find a dealer who has it so I can replace it for a reasonable price ( $115 for a paperback? I think not.) and would really like to get my own copy back please.
