shoe whoredom and mad sales

I just scored these shoes for $9.60. How do I love thee, DSW? 80% off, that's how. I also got these in black suede. Totally unlike me, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. I promised myself not to get any more shoes until I got rid of an equal number of pairs; the black slides I've been wearing the hell out of for four years now are just about to fall apart, so there's one pair. If I still have my Fluevog steel-toed boots, I'll probably eBay those. (See what I mean? I can't remember which shoes I still own. Bad sign.) I think the Muro Killers are going to be eBayed and that money put into my vacation fund; I've not worn them since the Peter Murphy concert two(?) years ago, might as well send them off to a good home with someone who won't let them.
Speaking of huge amounts off of things, Jo-Ann is having another $1.99 Simplicity pattern sale August 1-3; might be time to pick up the corset and undergarments patterns while they're cheap, to be used at some date when I actually know what I'm doing. Also, if you need bolts of fabric, they're on sale online for 40% off right now. One never knows when one might happen to need 75 yards of white fleece, best stock up now. Fifty yards of glimmer tulle though, that's a necessity.
