Sep. 13th, 2002 01:36 amToday is Sweetmorn, day 37 in the season of Bureaucracy, 3268.
*sniffle* *cough* Allergy season is back, woohoo. I spent a solid five minutes sneezing tonight while getting ready to take a shower that I hoped would help maybe stop my eyes from itching and watering so much that I couldn't see. Disappointing, as it's getting pretty cool here tonight, perfect for keeping the windows open and sleeping bundled up in blankets...assuming that keeping the windows open doesn't cause your head to explode. I actually have health insurance this year, I don't know what's keeping me from finding a doctor and getting some real allergy meds other than serious lack of motivation when it comes to getting anything taken care of that involves going near a doctor's office. It's not fear (unlike my dentist phobia), it's just not wanting to deal with all the hassle.
I wasn't kidding about the whole slumber party thing, I really would like to have one sometime (once y'all wouldn't be forced to listen to me sneeze all night). And unlike many of the ones I attended as a kid, this one would actually be *fun*. =) I think a fair number of us could use a little fun right about now.
I know I had something thoughtful and introspective to say, but my antihistamines are kicking in and I'm doing pretty well to just remain upright. Not that I'll even be doing that for very much longer...
