Lots of random thoughts, no particular order.
Wonder why when I mention that I'm going to San Diego for work, more than one person has now asked me if I'm moving there? Must be something about my drooling about the prospect of being paid to go someplace warm and sunny, even if it is only for a few days (Saturday - Wednesday). I was trying to figure out a way to get a stopover in Denver, but that didn't happen. (Sorry, P. ;) ) Charlotte it is.
I wonder if I've been a little bit too forthright in some email exchanges I've been having lately. Inside voice and outside voice, need to remember which one I should be using at any given time.
I find tsunamis endlessly fascinating, I'm not sure why. The thought of a 55-foot wave coming in my direction is quite terrifying. The Discovery Channel empire indulges me by showing various "Raging Planet/When Nature Attacks/America's Funniest Natural Disasters" type shows on a regular basis, although the content after seeing the first two is starting to get repetitive. Maybe it's just burnout, but I think that studying tsunamis sounds much more interesting right now than what I'm doing. In my next life, I want to be a geophysicist. (How often do you hear someone say that? ;) )
!@#$, I was going to watch "The West Wing" and just realized I've missed half of it. I really want a Tivo.
