According to http://bunnyofdoom.org/itm/jvnews.php (an email from Jhonen), it is indeed cancelled. They apparently had something like 16 unaired episodes left over that Nick is going to be showing (http://www.tavicat.com/updates.html") though.

(pout) aw, rats. At least there are a few new episodes left... this is both the favorite Nickelodeon cartoon of myself and my 11-year-old son James...
