I just love corsets. I burned a VCD of "Lady Marmilade" yesterday. I watched it today, and Pam looked at it for two minutes, turned to me and said, "I can see why you like this one."
I can vouch for the Valerie Steele book - it's not as bland as advertised and has great photography. She really does do a great job of proving that all the horror stories about corset wearing (removed, ribs, crushed organs, etc.) are not true.
Corsets feel more like armor to me, anyway. I feel *safe* in there!
