shoe whoredom
Dec. 7th, 2001 03:48 pmAugh! Someone pointed me over to
shoe_fetish, which in a roundabout way got me back to looking at http://www.funkefeet.com/ I don't actually need Chia boots, but I could probably persuade myself I needed a pair of one of these post-reemployment:

No, I will behave, I will behave......
Hubba Hubba
seem more like your 'big stompy boot' type.
When I looked at funkefeet.com, why do I think that
when they advertise sizes up to 14, that their target
audience may not be women?
The signal job not only hasn't come through yet
(contract hasn't been let) but they want Pam to
come in for testing on Monday. If they wanted to give
her tests, why didn't they do it before
they sent her a job offer letter?

Date: 2001-12-08 11:19 am (UTC)About that testing...weird. I had to do that as my second interview (good thing they did it, too, as apparently some people who claimed to know unix well didn't know what a .tar.gz file was or how to deal with it). It's odd they're going to wait until after the offer letter. Do they know when the contract is supposed to be awarded?
Re: Hubba Hubba
Soo, when do I get to see you wearing a pair like that? :)
good news job wise
my posts, but I don't see it on livejournal.
Anyway, Signal didn't want to give Pam more tests,
they wanted to talk to her about which of the three
jobs they have open she would want. One of them would
be working on DoJ stuff, allow her to work in Fairfax
three days a week, and would start before Christmas,
assuming the contract is let later this week, as they
expect it to be. Pam had another interview today,
and a 2nd interview tomorrow.
