Today is Prickle-Prickle, day 42 in the season of The Aftermath, 3167.
"Lord of the Rings" tickets are on sale already. Eek. I have this feeling that opening night is going to be just like opening night of Episode 1; I'm going to avoid it for other reasons than I avoided opening night of "Harry Potter". If you happen to have seen "Starwoids", the documentary about people who sat outside in line for 42 days for Episode 1, I think you'll have a good idea what I mean.
In addition to the good news about the job I've been interviewing for, I got my first call from a recruiter in about six months for a job that sounds like it's very much like what I've been looking for. Woo. Maybe this combined with a larger number of job postings I've been seeing lately and more leads for Chris from recruiters means that the job market here is starting to get unwedged a little bit.
