A. Red. Velvet. TUDOR GOWN. For $90 USD. The mind BOGGLES that they can afford to sell it at that price, even on sale. Don't they realize they could easily get several hundred if they marketed to the re-enactment crowd?? Not that I'm complaining about the price.... but they stole my design right out of my head - I sketched something very similar for a class I was taking!!

In all seriousness, Gallery Serpentine really has some beautiful things and their crew are clearly very talented. Envy!!!

Aggh.. there I go reading too fast again. I thought it was $90 marked down from $450. $450 is still a really good price for a gown like that.

I rather like the PVC 18th C. gown myself. It is strange but I think that was the point.
