I can see a good chunk of my bedroom floor again. I can no longer see the bed *, but at least there's open floor now. Now I just need to wait for the Roomba to finish recharging so I can turn it loose on the underbed dust bunnies. One bag of shoes and half a bag of clothes bagged up for Goodwill, and 3/4 of a closet yet to get through. Not tonight though.

* This is kind of a good thing because it forces me to deal with it rather than sitting on the sofa and lazing about, at least if I don't want to sleep on a blanket on the floor.

Haha! Your icon is hysterical because its true. XD

In general, it's not so much laziness as it is being easily bored and distracted. In the case of putting laundry away, it's more "I just can't be bothered to figure out where to put this stuff, so I'll leave it here". I don't mind doing laundry or doing dishes, but I hate putting the clean stuff away when I'm done.

Aha! The solution to that is to take the time to set up a system for storing everything, with enough room to fit everything comfortably, also preferably with labels, to make it super easy to put things away.
